ChromoJet is the digital jet printing system for carpets and mats from Zimmer-Austria .

ChromoJet works by injecting dye into the pile of the carpet. The functional principle is similar to an office ink jet printer. Jets are arranged in groups, mounted on a print-head which traverses the mat. The computer controlled jets open and close up to 400 times per second. The colour pressure injects dye with surgical precision deep into the face of the pile without any machine parts touching the fabric.

Colour system: Chromojet works with spot-colours (pre-mixed colours) and not with process colours.
MM Rainbow PallettColour mixing on the carpet has its limitaions caused by limited resolution . Chromojet prints are compared by best woven carpet.

ChromoJet-MP

ChromoJet-MP -the result of many years experience in building printing machines and in combination with latest technology- is especially designed to print custom made mats up to 16 colours.
This printer combines the print-head, steamer to fix the dye; washing and drying system.
